How CapaLens uses information
CapaLens may process personal information where it is needed to respond to an enquiry, provide recruitment and technical-assessment services, maintain an engineer profile requested by the individual, operate the business and meet legal obligations.
Information we may collect
This may include names, contact details, location, employment history, CV information, professional qualifications, work and shift preferences, salary expectations, right-to-work or sponsorship status, role requirements, interview notes and technical-assessment evidence. We do not ask engineers to provide unnecessary special-category information through the website registration form.
Engineer registrations
If you register as an engineer, CapaLens will use the details you provide to create and maintain your recruitment profile, understand the types of opportunities that may be relevant, contact you about suitable roles or assessments, and manage the recruitment process. Registration does not mean your CV will automatically be sent to employers.
Employer enquiries
Information supplied through the employer contact form is used to respond to the enquiry, understand the recruitment requirement and manage the resulting business conversation.
Optional updates
If you separately opt in to CapaLens market, salary or career updates, that preference will be recorded independently of the core recruitment service. You can ask for those updates to stop at any time.
Sharing
Candidate information will only be shared where relevant to the recruitment service and with an appropriate basis and process. CapaLens will discuss employer introductions with candidates rather than treating registration as blanket permission to circulate a CV.
Retention and your rights
CapaLens will maintain documented retention periods for candidate and client information. You may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion/withdrawal where applicable. You can also ask CapaLens to stop keeping your engineer profile on file.
Service providers
The website may use carefully selected technology providers for website hosting, form processing and email delivery. Those providers process information only as required to provide their service to CapaLens.
Contact
Final company registration details and the dedicated privacy contact address will be inserted when the CapaLens legal entity and domain email are finalised. Until then, this website remains in pilot launch configuration.
